[Each handmade choko] This cup is made by Kaga Makie ``Yoshita Kasyou Studio,'' which is famous for producing tea ceremony utensils. Because they are all handmade, each piece has a slightly different look.
[As a gift] Comes in a gift box reminiscent of the night sky. Stainless steel, a metal product, is turned into a lacquer work by Kasho Kobo craftsmen's maki-e technique, making it easy to hold and beautiful, and the more you use it, the more the galaxy shines. When you enjoy a glass of cold sake, you can't help but feel glamorous. It is also chosen as a gift for foreigners.
[Made by craftsmen with all their heart] The base material is high-quality 18-8 stainless steel, which is painstakingly made by skilled craftsmen from Tsubame-Sanjo, Japan's leading metal processing region. Craftsmen at Kasho Kobo, who are experts in lacquer art, sprinkled zelkova wood powder, made streaks with a potter's wheel, applied a generous amount of natural lacquer in several coats, and then finished it off by sprinkling mother-of-pearl and silver powder. A thick layer of approximately 3mm is formed with lacquer and zelkova wood powder.
[Easy to clean] Recommended for ice-cold sake. There is no need to take special care just because it is lacquerware. To clean, use a soft sponge and dish detergent as you would regular tableware. Wipe thoroughly with a towel to remove any water droplets. *Please avoid using the dishwasher, microwave, oven, and soaking in water for a long time. *We do not recommend using hot alcohol (as the heat conductivity is high and the vessel becomes hot).
